Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

Blessed in Christ respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we may collect through blessedinchrist.com, why we use it and how we protect it.

Information we collect

We may collect:

  • information you provide when you contact us, subscribe to communications, submit content or otherwise communicate with us;
  • technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type, referring page and activity on the website;
  • cookie and consent-preference information;
  • if our online shop becomes available, information required to process orders, payments, delivery and customer support.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.

How we use information

We may use information to:

  • operate, secure and improve the website;
  • respond to enquiries and provide requested resources or services;
  • send communications you have requested;
  • understand how visitors use the website;
  • prevent spam, fraud and misuse;
  • process and support purchases if our shop becomes available;
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the website. Google Analytics may collect information about your browser, device, general location and activity on the website.

Where consent is required, analytics cookies are used only after you agree. Google processes information through its services according to its Privacy Policy.

Communications

If you subscribe to a newsletter or other communication, we may use your email address to send it. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the message.

Purchases and payments

If our online shop becomes available, we may collect information such as your name, contact details, billing or delivery address and order details.

Payments may be processed by an independent payment provider. We do not normally receive or store your complete payment-card details. Payment, shipping and other service providers will process information according to their own privacy policies.

We may retain transaction records where necessary for accounting, taxation, dispute resolution and legal compliance.

Some pages may contain affiliate links. If you follow one and make a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

The third-party website may collect information or use cookies after you follow the link. External websites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

Embedded content

Pages may contain content from other websites, such as videos, social-media posts or other resources. These providers may collect information when you interact with their content. Where required, such content may be restricted until you provide consent.

When information is shared

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with providers that help us operate the website, including hosting, security, analytics, email, payment, delivery and technical-service providers.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our legal rights or to prevent fraud, abuse or security threats.

International processing

Some service providers may process information outside Singapore. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure that transferred personal information receives an appropriate standard of protection.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of online transmission or storage can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the applicable law, you may ask to:

  • access or correct personal information we hold about you;
  • withdraw consent;
  • request deletion or restriction of certain information;
  • object to certain uses of your information;
  • unsubscribe from communications.

Some information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.

To make a request or ask a privacy question, please use our Contact page.

Changes to this policy

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
