Welcome to Blessed in Christ.

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of blessedinchrist.com and its content, features and services (collectively, the “Site”). In these Terms, “Blessed in Christ”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.

1. Purpose of the Site

Blessed in Christ provides Christian articles, devotionals, prayers, Bible studies, testimonies, Scripture collections, guides, reading plans, downloads, product recommendations and related resources.

Our aim is to help people discover Jesus, understand the blessings believers have in Christ, grow in faith and find biblical encouragement for everyday life.

2. Christian and informational content

The Site presents content from a broadly Protestant and evangelical Christian perspective. Christians and churches may differ on secondary matters of interpretation and practice. You are encouraged to read Scripture carefully, pray and seek guidance from trusted pastors or mature Christian leaders where appropriate.

The content is provided for general spiritual, educational and informational purposes. It does not create a pastoral, counselling, professional or advisory relationship between you and Blessed in Christ.

Although we aim to prepare content carefully, we do not guarantee that every article or resource will be complete, error-free or suitable for every personal situation.

3. No professional advice

Content on the Site is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice, diagnosis or treatment.

You should consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding circumstances requiring professional attention. Do not disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on the Site.

If you believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, experiencing a medical emergency or at risk of self-harm, contact your local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service immediately.

4. Prayer and personal outcomes

Prayers, testimonies and biblical encouragement published on the Site are intended to support faith and reflection. They are not promises that a particular event, healing, financial result, relationship outcome or other result will occur.

Experiences described in testimonies are personal to the individuals concerned and should not be interpreted as guarantees of similar outcomes.

5. Scripture quotations

Scripture quotations may be taken from different Bible translations. The translation used should ordinarily be identified on the relevant page or in the Site’s Bible quotation notice.

Bible translations may be protected by the copyrights and usage policies of their respective publishers. All rights in such translations remain with their respective rights holders.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • use the Site in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server, accounts or connected systems;
  • introduce malware, malicious code or other harmful material;
  • interfere with the operation, security or availability of the Site;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically extract Site content without written permission;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
  • submit material that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, deceptive or invasive of another person’s privacy;
  • use Site content to train, populate or operate a competing commercial content service without written permission; or
  • remove copyright, attribution or proprietary notices from Site content.

We may restrict or block access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or the Site is being misused.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the original content and design of the Site—including articles, prayers, studies, graphics, branding, downloadable resources and other materials—belong to Blessed in Christ or are used with permission.

You may:

  • read and share links to publicly available pages;
  • quote brief portions for non-commercial purposes with clear attribution and a link to the original page; and
  • download or print resources for personal use where the Site provides that option.

Unless a resource carries a different licence, you may not reproduce, republish, sell, modify, distribute or commercially exploit substantial portions of the Site or its resources without prior written permission.

Content belonging to third parties remains subject to the rights and terms of those third parties.

8. Downloads and digital resources

Unless a different licence is provided with a download, downloadable resources are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not sell, redistribute, upload, sublicense or claim ownership of a resource, whether in its original or modified form. You may not remove copyright or attribution notices.

Access to a download may occasionally be interrupted, changed or withdrawn. We may correct or replace a resource if we discover an error.

9. User submissions

The Site may allow visitors to submit comments, testimonies, prayer requests, contact messages, reviews or other material.

You retain ownership of material you submit. However, when you ask or permit us to publish it, you grant Blessed in Christ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, edit for clarity or length, publish and display that material for the purposes for which it was submitted.

You confirm that:

  • you have the right to submit the material;
  • it does not infringe another person’s rights;
  • it is truthful to the best of your knowledge; and
  • you have obtained permission before including another person’s private information or story.

We may review, edit, decline, anonymise or remove submissions. We are not obliged to publish anything submitted to us.

Please do not include confidential information, unnecessary sensitive personal information or details that could place anyone at risk. Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

10. Newsletter and communications

If you subscribe to the newsletter, you consent to receiving the communications described on the subscription form. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in an email.

Service-related messages, such as confirmations or responses to enquiries, may still be sent where necessary.

Some links on the Site may be affiliate links. If you follow an affiliate link and make a purchase or complete another qualifying action, we may receive a commission or other benefit at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not change the price charged by the retailer unless expressly stated. We aim to distinguish sponsored material and disclose relevant commercial relationships.

Product references and recommendations reflect our assessment at the time of publication, but they are not guarantees of quality, suitability, availability, safety or performance. You should review the product information, price, ingredients, warnings, shipping terms, return policy and other applicable conditions provided by the seller before purchasing.

12. Purchases from third-party sellers

When you purchase through a link to Amazon, iHerb or another third-party retailer, your purchase is made from that retailer and not from Blessed in Christ.

The retailer is responsible for matters such as:

  • product descriptions and availability;
  • pricing and payment processing;
  • delivery and fulfilment;
  • warranties;
  • cancellations, exchanges and refunds; and
  • customer service relating to the order.

Your transaction is governed by the retailer’s own terms and policies. Blessed in Christ is not responsible for the acts, omissions, products or services of an independent retailer.

13. Purchases made directly through the Site

Where the Site offers goods, digital products or paid services directly, the product description, price, delivery information, refund or return policy and any additional terms displayed at checkout will form part of the agreement between you and the identified seller.

Prices and applicable charges will be shown before an order is submitted. You are responsible for providing accurate billing, contact and delivery information.

An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that an order has been accepted. We may decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:

  • a product being unavailable;
  • an obvious pricing or description error;
  • suspected fraud or unauthorised payment;
  • delivery restrictions; or
  • a legal or regulatory requirement.

If payment has already been collected for an order we cancel, the relevant amount will be refunded.

Any applicable returns and refund policy will be made available before or at the time of purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The Site may link to websites, videos, embedded content, payment providers, social networks and other services operated by third parties.

Links are provided for information or convenience and do not necessarily constitute endorsement of everything on the linked website. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, security, content, privacy practices or terms.

You access third-party services at your own discretion and should review their applicable policies.

15. Availability and security

We aim to keep the Site reasonably available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed.

We may suspend, modify or discontinue any part of the Site for maintenance, security, legal, operational or other legitimate reasons. Content may be revised, relocated or removed without notice.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security measures and backups when downloading or using online material.

16. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as available” basis without warranties or representations beyond those expressly stated in these Terms.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Site will always be available, secure or free from errors;
  • all information will remain current or complete;
  • every external link will remain active or suitable; or
  • use of the Site or a recommended product will produce a particular result.

17. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

Subject to that qualification, Blessed in Christ will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, inability to use or reliance on the Site, its content, downloads, external links or third-party products.

You remain responsible for decisions and actions taken on the basis of Site content.

18. Responsibility for violations

You are responsible for loss or damage reasonably incurred by Blessed in Christ as a direct result of your unlawful use of the Site, your material breach of these Terms or your infringement of another person’s rights.

This provision does not require you to compensate us for loss caused by our own negligence, unlawful conduct or breach of these Terms.

19. Privacy and cookies

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy.

These policies should be read together with these Terms.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Site, our services or applicable requirements change.

The revised Terms will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will apply prospectively and will not alter an already completed purchase unless permitted by law and agreed where necessary.

Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

The courts of Singapore will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to the Site or these Terms. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you may also have mandatory rights or remedies under the laws of your country that these Terms cannot exclude.

Before commencing formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter reasonably.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The affected provision will be applied or modified only to the extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable.

23. No waiver

A failure or delay in enforcing a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce it later.
